In Like A Lion

"I wonder if the sap is stirring yet,
If wintry birds are dreaming of a mate,
If frozen snowdrops feel as yet the sun
And crocus fires are kindling one by one:
Sing robin, sing:
I still am sore in doubt concerning Spring."
~ Christina Rossetti

March came in like a lion for us here on the East Coast of Canada. Freezing rain, rain, and snow made it a very messy first of March. I have decided to take the advice of my Crocus' that are popping up in my garden, and not let the cold and snow bother me.
{A peek at February's Mood Board before I clear it for March}

this entire post gave me a smile and I enjoy the crocus sprouting so early and hopeful!

Thanks for checking out my blog. Thanks for the advice, too.
Just skimmed your blog so far, but anyone who likes Christina Rossetti is alright by me. ;) Can't wait to read more.

That is a beautiful mood board. It's almost little sad to have to clear it. I tried to change my header Sunday noght, and decided to leave it up for another month...just didn't want to see the little guy go.

Yesterday, after a dismal start to the day, it actually got warm enought to neccessitate opening the car window! Yippee, spring is really trying to get here!

Actually, I'm excited to start over. I put everything from February's mood board into a scrapbook so I will always have it.

The weather here is starting to look up today. All the rain we had overnight pretty much has taken care of most of the snow... now were are only left with that grouse dirty icy crap on the side of the road.

Everything looks better in the light of a new spring like day. Even my mood is letting up somewhat.
