Mother nature has given us a small taste of winter here in Halifax today. Wet snow covered rooftops and lawns this afternoon, leaving everything white a frosty looking. Despite being sick, I put on my woollens and headed outside for a few snap shots.
I'm a firm believer that when sick it's important to get at least a little fresh air, I believe it helps circulate the sickness faster...strange, I know. Beautiful pictures :o) I lived in NS for a bit when I was a kid ya know, but I don't recall having visited Halifax, looks memorable!
Shadow, Snow is nice for the first few months of winter but I start to get tired of looking at it in February, March and by April you just cringe at the sight of it.

that looks like the kind of snow we get out here...more wet than snowy, but still so pretty to look at...

Some of the early snowfalls are wet and slushy like this.
