Nice! I should post later about the new "secret place" Susan and I have. It involves a beach, two white deck chairs, two umbrellas, two servants, one guitar player playing sambas just over the dunes, and no children!

Oh, that does sound like a truly lovely spot... please do share Billy!

Yes Teach, the photo is from last summer at a beach only minutes from my house... perfect spot to bask in the sun or take in the scenery but not to great for water activities... brrrrrrr!

Beth, let me know when your coming to NS for a visit and we can plan a beach day... hehe!

Yes Shadow, I would love to have some company... I'll bring the picnic and you bring the Frisbee ;)

That's gorgeous. I may just look at my archives and find an out of season photo to post. This ice/snow storm is killing me today. :-)

Erin, I was just clicking through your flickr photos last night... Wagon Hill gave me some inspiration for today's photo post. :)

I guess we aren't getting the snow now, just the ice and freezing rain... the roads are a mess here.

hmmm...word veri = shelithe
What a great word!

Jack said...

thistle, I have too much time on my hands tonight? I googled "shelithe" but came up with nothing so I broke it down...
'she' -
1.
 a. Used to refer to the woman or girl previously mentioned or implied.
 b. Used to refer to a female animal.
2. Used in place of it to refer to certain inanimate things, such as ships and nations, traditionally perceived as female.

'lithe' -
1. Readily bent; supple: lithe birch branches.
2. Marked by effortless grace: a lithe ballet dancer.

so... shelithe - She's bent

hehe! I really do need a hobby!

Oh, I miss Nova Scotia... but not in the winter....

Winter here isn't great but it's by far not the worst in Canada.

Are you from NS?
