My Peonies opened up this week but they are fading fast; seems they are not a fan of the damp and fog either. I cut a bunch this weekend and placed them all around the house, they look pretty and smell so nice.
The first time I ever seen Peonies was at my Ex's house, and I used to love picking them, until I found out that ants help them open, and I hadn't properly waited until the flowers were rid of them before I placed them next to my bed...LOL

just gorgeous... a completely underrated flower, in my opinion. I can't wait until my sad little peony flowers too. =)
I had two peony plants, now I just have one. Hopefully it'll bloom next year, the poor thing!
they are gorgeous, they always feel so vintage to me. Something I'd find at my grandmothers house.

it is my policy to never comment on a ladies peonies... but in your case they are "Exceptional"
