When you are exposed to sunlight, your body makes lots of Vitamin D3, and because of that you make more of a substance called Serotonin. Serotonin is a chemical found in the brain and it's very important to your mood. We know that if you don't have enough of it then you can become depressed.

Rainy Day Blues
What's that disorder called when your mood is affected by the weather? Yes, that's it, SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. I think that just might be me.Seems like all it does is rain around here lately. I need to *relax in the sunshine*!

oh girlie, SAD gets me, even though we have sunny winters. i need the heat now, light blue skies, warm breezes, smouldering nights, crickets singing all night long, sun, sun sun.... yeah, i understand your need to relax in the sun...
