In this Moment

There is a soft breeze blowing through my open bedroom window. 

Pup is snoozing beside me, everyone is happy and healthy.  

Everything in this moment is perfect and exactly how it should be. 

I am exactly where I want to be. 

I am full of love. 

I realize that things can change is just a heart beat but, for now am just happy in this moment.

Can anyone tell me how do I sooth my "restless soul"?

It always seems that there is never enough time. I am just beginning to realize that it's not how much time we have, it's how much we accomplish with the time we have been given. Make the most of every moment of your life, however long it may be.

Burning Sage

I haven't done much today. Been in my head a lot. I feel my energy is low and I'm out of sorts so I have been cleansing my energy field by burning sage.

So it's Thursday and I've mellowed out considerably from yesterday. I was just on an emotional Roller coaster. I dont know why I let things I have no control over get me all worked up, but I do.

I haven't been feeling well - my Gallbladder hates me.

We have been ordered by the city to fix a drainage problem that wasn't fixed properly when our house was built - my neighbours hate me.

Endless chains of thought keep me from sleeping at night - my mind hates me.

Weekend Delights

Fell asleep with the tv on last night.(Anderson Cooper is on television. "... seems pretentious to me, but it is interesting to see if other people use them or not").  Woke up about 4 am to (..."Imagine never having to pay a dime for someone to wax your bikini line or facial hair") BaHaHaHa!  It's an infomercial about a devise that they claim removes "embarrassing facial hair" in one easy step. I watch and listen to Kassie's soothing voice and her over the top hand gestures try to make me believe this product really does work.  I wonder how many people are waking up at 4 am and calling to order their very own "NO! NO!".

That was followed by another infomercial about some "new" weight loss drop (i think). They kept emphasizing the "The Weight Loss Cure 'They' Don’t Want You to Know About"... Who are "they" and why don't "they" want people to know about it???  This guy claims it is a cure for a whole host of conditions, ranging from cancer, diabetes, and chronic fatigue syndrome to obesity... Hey this is no ordinary weight loss solution...the "CURE" was developed by a British Endocrinologist in the 1950.  This infomercial guy then goes on the explain why "THEY" don't want "US" to know about it.  Apparently the drug companies want to keep us fat so they can make money off the problems which are suffered from being obese.  PLEASE!  Do people really fall for this bull shit?!  And if so...

Are you as sad as I am that summer has unofficially come to an end? These beautiful September days pass by much too fast don't they? There was a chill in the air as early morning greeted me, but it quickly warmed up as soon as the sun appeared above the horizon.  Another September day had begun and we will be treated to another beautiful day.

Driving along the coast Saturday, the warmth of the sun was cooled by the breezes drifting off the ocean .  We discovered a new favourite beach and will be returning some day soon, perhaps in the next few weeks. 

Last night there was a distinct scent of Autumn in the air.  While walking the pup there were a few cicadas who were treating us to a song - we have hardly heard them all summer. I know moments like these are fleeting, as the warm days get shorter, and the cool nights become longer and longer.  I like to think that each and every season will bring new hopes, happiness and new adventures.
