April Fools' Day is observed throughout the Western world. According to tradition, people can pull pranks before noon today in the name of April Fools' Day but become the fool if they do it in the afternoon.

I've played many tricks on my family over the years. Here are some oldies but goodies:
  • Saran wrap the toilet seat
  • Superglue some coins to the sidewalk
  • Whoopee cushions
  • Fake turds
  • Tape the trigger on your sink sprayer down

What are some April Fool's jokes you have played on people? or were played on you?

My father in law is obsessive about his then 1982 classic silverado chev pick-up. He had it painted a bright, shiny, fire engine red. It was a pretty truck. Well one day the 16 year old neighbor across the street backed out of his driveway and into the passenger door of this much loved truck. Repairs were soon made and the truck was shiny again. It just so happened that the truck was restored to its owner on March 31st. The following day as we came to visit the parents we decided to get dear old dad. When we walked in my husband asked in a confused tone, "I thought you got your truck fixed?" Dad replied, "I did". Son said, "Well its all bashed in again." You should have seen dad fly out the door! Ha Ha Ha. We still laugh about that one--he's such a prankster and usually gets the best of everyone.

Shadow, I wonder if the internet being down had something to do with that Conflicker virus threat?

Kaye, That is hilarious! Your poor father inlaw must have wanted to strangle your hubby... lol
